As always, I answer questions before the elections that people frequently ask, such as whom I plan to vote for. That is my personal decision, and the position the newspaper takes has nothing to do with that. An unbiased reader can see that our reports were balanced and did not give anyone preference.
I have deep respect towards all forces participating in the elections. Perhaps I have some reservations towards Sasna Tsrer. I think that the upcoming elections are a test in this instance to see how well our citizens welcome violence and bloodshed as a way to solve political issues. But, as they say, the voice of the people is the voice of God. What’s important is that the elections will reflect society’s true image. The work towards improving society and making it more progressive and modern needs to continue. This problem will not be solved through elections or revolutions.
I as an individual citizen liked the Bright Armenia political party and the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance from the beginning of the campaigns. My vote will not be for a specific individual, but instead for a free ideology, freedom not only in the economy, but in the public, political, and spiritual spheres, at work, in the family, and everywhere else. The basis of that includes: the possibility for every individual to freely develop, love, sympathy, forgiveness, and tolerance, and the lack of envy, jealousy, and selfishness. The two forces I named were the ones that demonstrated behaviors during the campaigns that were close to my visions of freedom, and they remained as far away from aggression as possible. I prefer the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance due to the fact that it needs more votes.
I want to repeat that I am not propagating for or against any individual, and am not calling upon readers to do anything. Vote for whomever you want to, or, if you choose, don’t vote at all. Nothing will begin with these elections and nothing will end with these elections. Life will continue in all ways.
