The members of the Sasna Tsrer political party went to Vanadzor to pay respects. Jirair Sefilian, after placing flowers next to a monument dedicated to the victims of the 1988 earthquake, answered reporters’ questions.
To summarize the campaigns, Sefilian simply said that the amount of time these campaigns were carried out in was too little for such elections. “There were problems that we spoke about, but the biggest problem was that there was too little time. Holding national elections in such a short period of time is difficult. This in particular was difficult for us because we still hadn’t completely formed as a party yet. But we will overcome these obstacles and move forward. We are optimistic.”
Speaking about his expectations, the Sasna Tsrer leader said, “I think that our people will be able to surprise everyone again, and I obviously mean this in a positive way.”
