Azeri and Russian fakes passive in these elections: Samvel Martirosyan

Media expert Samvel Martirosyan said, “Since the forces trying to enter parliament during these elections had the issue of trying to become well-known in society, they put a huge emphasis on online advertisements. Unprecedented resources were spent here.”

According to him, the highest amount of money was spent on Facebook, since Facebook remains a political tool. Due to advertisements made by hundreds of candidates, the price for advertisements on Facebook increased by 50 percent.

Samvel Martirosyan also noted that, unlike during previous elections, Azeri and Russian fakes were passive during these elections. In his opinion, the passiveness of Azeri fakes was due to the fact that they do not understand what is taking place in Armenia yet, and therefore don’t know what steps to take. Also, according to the expert, it is easy to catch fakes on Facebook.

The most memorable online advertisement, according to Samvel Martirosyan, was the sad black and white posters of the Republican Party.
