“With these elections, we were able to prove that it is possible to hold elections that do not have suspicious results. It is not important if society consciously or unconsciously made its decision. What’s important is that society freely expressed its will,” Advisor to the Armenian President and head of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan told reporters.
He was not quick to evaluate the newly elected deputies. He said that it would only be right to make evaluations about the work of the new parliament at least one year later. “Perhaps we will not have a team that will be able to understand the nuances of parliament in the beginning. However, it will be important to see if the new parliament has the desire to learn or not.”
