On 15 December, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Armenia will visit Aregak bakery and coffee shop in the country’s city of Gyumri. Known as the very first barrier-free, inclusive coffee shop and bakery in the country, Aregak was supported by EU.
YEAs will offer free coffee to visitors of Aregak using with special cups. Each cup will carry a special message on human rights, as well as quick response (QR) codes leading to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The YEAs will also have a walk in the city and will present the initiative, as well as hand out factsheets about the initiative.
Aregak employs people with disabilities, thereby providing employment opportunities for this vulnerable group of people.
