Raffi K. Hovannisian, Armenia’s first foreign minister and the Heritage Party’s founding chairman, was in the Greek capital from December 14 to 16 by invitation of Nea Demokratia, an EPP member party, to its 12th National Congress.
In the margins of the convention, Hovannisian met with colleagues old and new, including Nea Demokratia President Kyriakos Mitsotakis, former Prime Ministers Kostas Karamanlis and Antonis Samaras, EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos, Serbian Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, and EPP candidate for European Commission President Manfred Weber.
