Permanent representative of Artsakh to Armenia Garnik Isagulyan returned from Artsakh, where he spoke to Artsakh authorities. He told Armenian leaders and experts to stop spreading unfounded thoughts about Artsakh that do not support the resolution of the conflict. This especially is in reference to comments after Levon Mnatsakanyan was removed from his position of Defense Army commander.
“Everything is calm and peaceful in Artsakh, and all the changes that are taking place are done in an independent state system. The theories circulating around Armenia do not exist in Artsakh.”
He also said that Levon Mnatsakanyan’s replacement was not the only change made in Artsakh. This does not mean, however, that Levon Mnatsakanyan will remain outside of Artsakh’s military and political life. Isagulyan added that professional changes are always possible because life advances and new faces are needed. But we will still hear Levon Mnatsakanyan’s name frequently, in Isagulyan’s opinion.
