“I cannot comment on the replacement of former Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan for obvious reasons,” Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters in an interview.
When asked if he is truly worried about whether or not this replacement will have an affect on the abilities of the Armed Forces, Nikol Pashinyan answered, “That is a poor comment aimed at our army that this change can have an affect on their abilities. Who appointed him? They were people who have served their whole lives in the Armed Forces and were veterans of the Artsakh Liberation War.”
