‘Azerbaijan made more progress with military technology than we did’: National Agenda party co-founder

December 25,2018 13:44

“The results of the government’s activities in the security sector are disappointing. They were too focused on internal problems and they allowed for exclusions in Nakhichevan, for example. Azerbaijan took advantage of this situation and brought its positions forward. Our army has begun to counteract, but political will demands that the opponent push its positions back,” co-founder of the National Agenda party Avetik Chalabyan told reporters.

Regarding the CSTO, Chalabyan said that the developments have immediate connections to the internal problems in Armenia. “Hastiness caused us to create superficial problems with our colleagues. This could have been prevented had we been more patient and observant.”

Avetik Chalabyan, regarding activities surrounding military technology with Russia, said, “It did not fail, but it is developing slower than we would have liked. Azerbaijan has made more progress with military technology this year than we have.”
