Head of the Byurakan Observatory Areg Mikayelyan emphasized to reporters that Byurakan is the world’s most famous village.
“There is perhaps no other village that is as well-known. It has become clear that Byurakan is a part of the top ten cities that have had the most international summits. Some of the cities on this list include Paris, Rome, Beijing, Vienna, Rio de Janeiro, Prague, and other large cities. And then there was Byurakan, which is a village,” Areg Mikayelyan noted happily.
“It is surprising, but it is also a fact that we are a part of a list of such famous cities,” the Byurakan Observatory head said.
