State Minister of Artsakh Grigory Martirosyan summarized the activities of the government of Artsakh over the course of 2018 and presented next year’s plans and actions during a press conference. He said that this year’s data has not been completely officialized yet, but there is already some predictive data.
“The 12.2 percent rise in economic growth over nine months and the 11.7 percent economic activity index allow for us to predict a more than 10 percent rise in economic growth next year, as well as a GDP of higher than 300 billion AMD,” the State Minister said.
He said that, according to data from over the past 9 months, there has been a 30 percent rise in the industrial sector, a 40 percent rise in the mining sector, a 26 percent rise in the production industry, and a 14 percent rise in the energy sector.
Grigory Martirosyan also emphasized that over 1,500 jobs were created throughout the year, 500 of which were in the industrial sector.
