Nikol Pashinyan on meeting with Putin: ‘Our meetings not enough to discuss all issues in full detail’

December 28,2018 15:34

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has returned from his trip to Moscow, Russia. He presented the results of his visit during a Facebook live stream.

“The main point of our meeting was to discuss the strategic development of our relations. We mostly spoke about those strategies, and I can report that we both have a complete understanding of how those strategies are to play out in order for our relations to advance,” Pashinyan said, adding that they also discussed the results of the past eight months. He announced, however, that there were no discussions regarding the Artsakh conflict.

The acting prime minister is convinced that Armenian-Russian relations improve with every meeting, and that this is a new historical time for both countries. “We note every time that our relations are so complicated and involved that our meetings and conversations are never enough to discuss all issues in full detail. This means that our meetings need to continue.”
