Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ensured that the beatings in Kazakhstan between Armenians and Kazakhs do not have any national subcontext.
“There was no ethnic context to the conflict between the two groups, and there was also a Kazakh national in the group that was stabbed. I am calling upon our media outlets to double check their source since understandably false information is circulating. Check the information, and then publish it,” Nikol Pashinyan told reporters.
As far as which of the opposition forces will have a candidate for Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Nikol Pashinyan said that this issue has not been discussed yet, but the logic is that the party that received more votes should have a Vice Speaker.
Regarding the increase of price of Russian gas at the border, the Acting Prime Minister said that negotiations are continuing so that there can be long-term solutions, and that everything is being done in order to promote the country’s interests.
