There have been no fundamental changes in the situation at the Armenian-Azeri border. The ceasefire regime has mostly been adhered to. Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Artak Davtyan, spoke to reporters about this. “If we are to compare it with previous years, there has been a decrease in the number of gunshots,” he said.
Regarding the fact that Azerbaijan has replaced its military subdivisions with border units along the Tavush border recently, Artak Davtyan said that Azerbaijan has not caused any changes in the border situation.
“I don’t think it will cause changes. This did not have any impact on the situation as of yet. In the future, we will welcome negotiations. As of now, this is a change brought upon by Azerbaijan that is one-sided, but I do not see a need for us to voice our opinion,” the Chief of Staff concluded.
