In 2018, the two airports of the Republic of Armenia served 2 856 673 passengers in total, this number being 11.9% higher than that of the previous year.
As compared to 2017, a 10% increase in passenger flow was observed at “Zvartnots” International Airport of Yerevan during 2018. In 2018, the Airport served 2,690,727 passengers against 2,448,251 of 2017.
As for Shirak Airport of Gyumri, its services were used by 165,946 passengers in 2018. This number exceeded the index of 105,664 passengers of 2017 by 57%.

In January-December 2018, at Zvartnots and Shirak airports there has also been recorded an increase of 9.8% in the number of takeoff-landings, as compared to the same period of the previous year.
