Interesting developments can be outlined in connection with the price of gas. This is not a closed issue. Acting Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke about this with reporters. “There are options for discussion. The government is actively working with its Russian colleagues,” he said.
The price of gas tariffs for Armenia has risen, but it has remained the same for consumers as of now.
Reporters asked if it is possible for Gazprom Armenia to make compromises so that the price can remain the same for consumers in the future. Mirzoyan said, “There are different scenarios that need to be discussed, but I cannot say right now what the results of those discussions will be. Negotiations can have different outcomes.”
When asked if it is possible for gas tariffs to decrease, Ararat Mirzoyan replied, “Again, there are interesting opportunities for developments that we are discussing with our Russian colleagues. We are doing the best we can to make everything as great as possible for Armenian citizens.”
