Aravot asked economist Tatul Manaseryan about what steps towards an economic revolution he has seen over the past several months since the government promised a new economic revolution. Tatul Manaseryan responded that his modest knowledge does not allow him to comment on that. “If they are adding new terminology, they should be kind enough to explain it to society, or at least to experts. I do not understand the term economic revolution right now, so I will try to learn about it.”
We asked Manaseryan what he thinks of the professionals Nikol Pashinyan chose for economic policy since many experts frequently complain that Nikol Pashinyan does not have good professionals in his circle, which is why there can be no progress in this sector. Manaseryan said that he is dissatisfied as well.
Tatul Manaseryan believes that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is the only person in government who is involved with investments when that should be based on institutional foundations instead of one individual.
