As it is already known, a committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Affairs will be created in the new Armenian parliament.
Prosperous Armenia deputy Mikayel Melkumyan will be in charge of the committee. Out of all the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, only the Russian State Duma had a committee on Eurasian integration. Leonid Kalashnikov is in charge of the Russian CIS, Eurasian Integration, and Russian Diaspora Relations committee. Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan do not even have such a committee in their parliaments.
