Judge Artur Mkrtchyan published his decision on second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan’s case regarding the recuse presented by the defendant.
The court published its decision to prolong the length of time in which Robert Kocharyan is to remain in detainment by two months. His lawyers’ interference regarding bail release was rejected.
The court examined two interferences, one presented by the Special Investigative Committee, which sought to increase the length of time of Robert Kocharyan’s detainment, and the other, which was presented by Robert Kocharyan’s lawyers, which sought to change his method of deterrence by allowing him to be released on bail.
