Republican Party Spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov said that the RPA is already the opposition. The party’s internal issues were discussed, but the nation’s internal and external issues were discussed as well, including the Artsakh conflict.
“We have several worries both regarding foreign policy and the Artsakh conflict, but this does not mean that we are saying that the new Prime Minister has led Armenia to failure. But we also cannot fail to mention the failures and worried that we have, despite the fact that we believe people need to listen,” the Republican Party spokesman said after the party’s Executive Body session.
Eduard Sharmazanov also spoke about Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan’s statement that the agreement between Armenia and the European Union will not be signed and authenticated in 2019. “And this is when Pashinyan was announcing proud policies, and was accusing us of dishonest policies. While we were carrying out our ‘dishonest policies,’ we were able to enter the Eurasian Economic Union and benefit our country and our people, as well as sign an agreement between Armenia and the EU. The authorities shouldn’t have said that they will not be able to have the agreement signed this year. Instead, that should have been a priority for them,” Eduard Sharmazanov said.
