Levon Baghdasaryan, who is the lawyer of the head of the Nork-Marash armed group Artur Vardanyan, presented an intermediation case that would change Vardanyan’s deterrence method. He suggested that Vardanyan either provide his signature promising to not leave the country, or he would be released on a 1 million AMD bail. Judge Bektashyan ruled to reject this offer due to it being unfounded.
The lawyer has presented intermediation several times for Vardanyan’s case, which has all been rejected.
The court session was postponed until February 8th.
