The appeal trial for the deterrence method of Robert Kocharyan was held at the Court of Appeals under the authority of Judge Mnatsakan Harutyunyan.
Representative of the General Prosecutor Vahagn Muradyan informed that the court procession was postponed, and the next session will be held on February 1st at 3:00 PM. The defendant side did not finish presenting its case. Muradyan said that the General Prosecutor will fight against the case after listening to the entire appeal.
When asked if the General Prosecutor himself will be present at the court session, Muradyan said that he does not know.
Kocharyan’s lawyer Hayk Alumyan said that they presented their appeal, and what remains is for the other lawyers to present their cases. Alumyan also emphasized that Kocharyan also has something to say.
Kocharyan will be having a speech at the next session.
