On January 28th and 29th, the latest session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly took place in Brussels, Belgium. The Armenian delegation also participated in this session.
The head of the Armenian delegation, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, said that their European colleagues were genuinely surprised by the new Armenian delegation’s constructiveness and activity. They said that this was the first time such a thing had happened. Hayrapetyan said that the Armenian delegation was the only one to have participated in all the sessions over two days with ten members. “We have a very strong delegation. We are doing our best to be very constructive and to solve problems.” Hayrapetyan emphasized the constructiveness and activity of our delegates several times. Aravot asked him if this means that the former Armenian delegations, according to him, did not work effectively and if they simply spend their time criticizing Azeri delegates. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan gave a short response- “No.”
