On 9 February, young people of the Armenian city of Gyumri welcomed a new EU-funded project that will support and engage with local youth.
The “EU at LOFT Gyumri” project will discuss with Gyumri youth the culture, history and traditions of the European Union and its Member States represented in Armenia. “EU at LOFT Gyumri” will organise dedicated events about each EU Member State in Armenia.
Active youth, organisations and volunteers from Shirak marz will be involved in the organisational process.
The EU Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Antoni Świtalski welcomed the guests and wished success to the project, underlining that youth is at the centre of the EU Delegation’s attention. The Governor of Shirak marz Tigran Petrosyan and the Deputy Mayor of Gyumri Ruben Sanoyan also attended the event.
“EU at LOFT Gyumri” is a youth project funded by the EU Delegation to Armenia and implemented by LOFT Gyumri.
