As of 14:00 on March 14th, 16 protesters have been taken to the police station. The press service of the police informed Aravot Daily about this. “They were not taken into custody, but they were brought to the police station in accordance with article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses regarding failure to comply with legal requirements given by a police officer,” the police station said, adding, “They are not being held in detainment. The appropriate actions are being carried out.”
The Municipality of Yerevan is demolishing cafes near the Armenian National Theater of Opera and Ballet. The workers at those cafes are holding protests along Mashtots Avenue.
