Misha Grigoryan’s performance on the Russian version of The Voice Kids caused quite a stir in Azeri media.
Azeris were angry at how a ten-year-old child could participate in the competition. “I am Misha Grigoryan. I come from Stepanakert, Armenia.”
The day.az news agency published a long article about this. They considered his performance to be a “provocation against Azerbaijan by the Russian Channel 1.” The author of the article believes that Armenians deliberately send people to participate in competitions who were born in Artsakh as a form of propaganda.
