On 4 April, Armenia hosted a conference to discuss achievements in EU-Armenia relations in light of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.
Entitled “Armenia and the tenth anniversary of the Eastern Partnership: A decade together, achievements and the way ahead”, the event was co-organised by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Eastern Partnership and Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Świtalski, underlined that the Eastern Partnership is based on common values, mutual interests, ownership and responsibility and focuses on concrete benefits to citizens. These benefits include trade, mobility, economic development and better quality of life.
The EU assists its partner countries, including Armenia, to strengthen their economy, connectivity, society and governance.
