Diasporan businessman: ‘I met with the former government, but unfortunately, when the meeting ended, so did our plans’

April 07,2019 13:24

According to Diasporan Armenian investor Serzh Gharibyan, it is evident how international organizations and countries have changed their opinion on our country after the revolution. “We hear good news almost every week about how there is support, but not through aid- instead, it is through official political publications. That has created a very positive atmosphere.”

Serzh Gharibyan said that he suggested to one of his foreign colleagues that they should make an investment, which they refused to do. “But when they see activity- this business owner came, that business owner came- the image changes.”

According to the businessman, during a meeting with the Prime Minister, it was understood that Nikol Pashinyan wants to solve problems through work, not through words. “I met with the former government, but unfortunately, when the meeting ended, so did our plans. There was no continuation. We sent letters, but they were left without a response, so we were left disappointed. But now, there is activity.”
