A Facebook user asked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a comment about when he plans to stop working in everyone’s place. Nikol Pashinyan, who was answering Facebook users’ questions during a live video, said that it is a fact that he needs to work hard.
“Someone who does not want to work hard cannot be the leader of a country,” Pashinyan said, assuring that the members of his team also work very hard. “I focus more on myself and the work I’ve done as the Prime Minister, as a politician, and as a person. Therefore, I do not seem to notice the work of others as well.”
He said that he is not completely satisfied with the work of his team members, but he is also not pleased with his own work. “If I am not completely satisfied with my own work, then I naturally am not satisfied with the work of others either. But those other people- the members of my team- are frequently subjected to unjust criticism, usually for political manipulation purposes.”
According to Pashinyan, he is not saying that everyone is perfect and that they are breaking records, but 90 percent of criticism aimed towards the members of his team is unfounded. “People are working. The results that we have had could not have possibly been the result of the work of one individual. They are the results of the work of an entire team. When questions with such emphasis are given, I feel even guiltier because I believe that I pay attention to myself more willingly or unwillingly, as a result of which I do not notice the work that others are doing.”
