President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian told reporters at the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial, “We will win.” The President did not answer any further questions. The President and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan went to the Genocide Museum afterwards.
According to Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, the only way for Armenian-Turkish relations to improve and for the genocide to be recognized is to create a strong Armenia.

U.S. ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy also spoke about the process of recognizing the Armenian Genocide, specifically about how most states in the U.S. have recognized it. She said that we must be thankful to American-Armenians who made great efforts to have the genocide recognized.
