“I am proud of our victories and I am sad for these bright boys. I am participating this year with Adam Sahakyan’s photo since this heroic young man changed my life,” head of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs, Prosperous Armenia deputy Naira Zohrabyan told Aravot Daily during the procession titled ‘Undying Regiment.’
She said that she started to look at life differently because of Adam Sahakyan. She began to value different things that she may have looked at in another way in the past.
When asked how she views statements regarding giving up territory on Victory Day, Naira Zohrabyan responded, “I don’t even want to think about there being any administration in Armenia where there will be discussions about giving up land. Several political activists have spread these anti-Armenian theories to see whether they would work or not. I think it’s important that this received a very negative reaction. Those who will try to speak about the land in exchange for peace theory are traitors to Armenia.”
