The presentation of the Armenian version of the autobiography of first President of Artsakh, second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, titled “Life and Freedom,” took place at the Congress hotel.
Robert Kocharyan’s wife, Bella Kocharyan, spoke about the book’s creation. “It is interesting that Robert is not an open person. But he opened up so much in this book- he opened up a lot about his inner world- that it leaves one surprised. We are celebrating the second presentation of the book, this time of its Armenian version. The first presentation took place in Stepanakert on January 26th. I am upset that the book’s author was not present for either presentation, and we know very well what the reason for that is. He is illegally being detained. But it doesn’t matter because we have to hold such presentations. A book was born that has the right to live. I think that the book will be very helpful for our youth. It can teach us how important it is to love our homeland. It is surprising how much patriotism there is in this book. Youth will learn how to be successful, about how difficult it is to reach success, how many nights they will stay awake, how much they will have to work, and how much they might lose. There are facts that force us to look at our everyday lives and our realities differently. The book does not allow us to be confused.”
