“Europeans are electing the next parliament, the next European Parliament. This is very important,” EU ambassador Piotr Switalski told reporters during the Europe Day events on Northern Avenue in Yerevan.
“We hope that Europe will uphold its decision because a strong Europe is very important. Europe is extremely important for the whole world and for our neighbors. A strong Europe means a stronger Armenia. A strong Europe will make Armenia even stronger,” the ambassador said.
Local organizations that receive support from the EU participated in events on Northern Avenue dedicated to Europe Day, which were organized by the delegation to the European Parliament. The ambassador was also present. He spoke to people and make jokes with representatives of partner organizations.
