A match was held between the local football team of the Spandaryan village of the Shirak region, Sipan, and the journalists’ football team. This took place along with the opening of the football stadium named in honor of the Ararat team’s former striker, Hamlet Mkhitaryan.
Hamlet Mkhitaryan’s widow, Marina Taschyan, was present at the ceremony, as well as their two children, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Monika Mkhitaryan.
When the opening ceremony was over, the football match began, during which the journalists’ team scored two goals against the Sipan team.
