June 07,2019 23:30

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a noteworthy statement during a meeting with reporters when he was asked to describe in detail his statement about the forces that want to cause a war and give up land. “I have spoken about that during the pre-election meeting in Goris. I have met with the military leadership of Artsakh and Armenia where I presented my views on how to resolve the Artsakh conflict. I asked if there were pretenses to my views, if they agreed with my views, or if they disagreed. And it seemed that they were all in agreement with the fact that there are people who are making the situation more tense by saying that this government is going to sell land. I gave the documents regarding Artsakh negotiations process to the leadership of Artsakh. They didn’t know what was going on. I asked them five times if they knew what was happening and what had been agreed upon, and they didn’t. And then they go on to the social media sites of their assistants and complain about the anti-Armenian government.”

Reporters told Pashinyan about how Bako Sahakyan said that he doesn’t know about any conspirator forces, and if he did, he would have carried out the appropriate actions. Pashinyan did not say anything in response.
