The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact over 250 times in the past week. In the period June 2- 8, the adversary fired around 2,500 shots towards the Armenian defense positions from firearms of different calibres, the Artsakh Defense Ministry told Panorama.am.
Apart from firearms, on June 4 the adversary applied 60mm mortar (4 shells) and RPG-17 grenade launcher in the northern direction of the line of contact.
The Defense Army’s frontline troops resorted to response action to silence the provocation and continued confidently fulfilling their military tasks.
