Armenia is in the top five countries that Russian citizens consider allies. The Levada Center published the results of a survey that was conducted.
The survey particularly notes that the percent of people who consider Armenia to be an ally has risen from 11 percent to 22 percent.
The majority of people surveyed consider Belarus, China, and Kazakhstan to be Russia’s allies. In one year, the percent of people who consider Belarus to be an ally rose from 49 percent to 62 percent. 42 percent of participants consider China to be an ally, and 38 percent consider Kazakhstan to be an ally. Azerbaijan is also on the top five list, with 16 percent of participants considering it an ally.
The USA is on the top of the list of countries that Russia considers to be enemies. After the USA, Russians consider Ukraine and Great Britain to be its enemies. However, the percent of people who consider the USA an enemy dropped compared to last year (from 78 percent to 67 percent). Latvia and Lithuania are also on the top five list of enemy states.

The survey took place between May 24th and May 29th of 2019. 1,616 people above the age of 18 participated in the survey.
