The Supreme Judicial Council, the Anti-Corruption Council, and the Association of Judges will be dealing with vetting in Armenia. A public discussion will be held to decide upon the characteristics that need to be focused on.
“We have informed our colleagues in private discussions about the fact that we are discussing these characteristics,” My Step faction leader Lilit Makunts said in parliament while speaking about criticism from colleagues and opposition about how the authorities have not presented their vision of vetting yet.
“I believe that general discussions on this topic will also be held. A package of legislative initiatives authored by Ararat Mirzoyan will be presented, which will help to quicken the creation of an anti-corruption committee. Therefore, the process has begun,” Lilit Makunts said.
