‘I hope I won’t get into a force majeure situation, which will cause additional problems for Armenia,” said deputy of the My Step faction and member of the Economic Relations Committee, Gevorg Papoyan, in an interview with Aravot.am regarding the intense political situation in Georgia that has caused complex problems between Georgia and Russia. The Russian President decreed that flights from Georgia to Russia have been canceled starting on July 8th.
Gevorg Papoyan doesn’t consider this to be a problem for Armenia. He says that there is no concern about the Upper Lars route at the moment.
‘Upper Lars is important for Armenia. I hope that nothing serious will happen and that the situation won’t escalated,” the deputy said.
Aravot asked if the negotiations on the launch of the Abkhazian railway mediated by the Swiss company will cease.
