“We are constantly pursuing the arms race in the region and raising the issue in bilateral and multilateral meetings,” Spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan said, referring to unofficial information that France is going to sell weapons to Azerbaijan.
According to her, the French-Azeri relations that are related to the military sphere are always at Armenia’s center of attention. “In February, the French president noted that France, unlike other countries, upholds its commitments and will not sell weapons to Azerbaijan that can be used in Artsakh. It is important for France to refrain from any cooperation that would undermine military balance in relations with Azerbaijan, which could then undermine regional stability.”
