The captain of the Armenian football team and member of London’s Arsenal team, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, organized a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Los Angeles.
“Thank you all for coming. It is a great honor for me to meet with Armenians in Los Angeles. When I speak with my teammates, workers at the football club, and other foreigners, I always tell them that there are around one million Armenians in Los Angeles. Sometimes I exaggerate by saying that there are two million. It’s a pleasure to meet with Armenians here because I always want to see my fellow compatriots in other countries. That makes us stronger and more united. That’s why I organized this meeting- so that we can see each other, greet one another, support one another, and encourage the new generation to reach new successes,” Mkhitaryan said.
