“According to the agreement, we are expecting producers to carry out their responsibilities at the end of this year into the beginning of next year,” Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan told reporters during a briefing, referring to when purchased Russian fighter aircraft will be transported to Armenia.
As far as new purchases that have been made that can be announced to the public, Tonoyan noted, “There will be military surprises, to say the least.”
Regarding the situation at the border, Tonoyan said that there is tension at some portions, but nothing that people should worry about. “Both sides are carrying out engineering works. We are trying to stop soon.”
