Minister of High-Tech Industry says the Armenian Renderforest is on a powerful path

Renderforest, which is an Armenian platform for creating videos, has opened a new office with the intention of bringing in 100 new employees and expanding the scope of its activities. Founder Narek Safaryan said that their products have completely been manufactured and created in Armenia. He also added that the platform intends to fill in any gaps in the industry. 

Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan was present at the opening of the new office. He confessed that he happily came to the event after a long and difficult day at work. 

“It is always special for me to meet members of the high-tech community and to hear about their success,” the minister said. He added that they had discussed the path which Renderforest was on, which he claimed was powerful. According to the minister, Armenia is the leader in video editing programs through Renderforest and the leader in photo editing programs through PicsArt. Arshakyan also expressed his hope that Armenia can also be a leader in many other sectors, such as artificial intelligence, microelectronics, design, mathematics, and others because it has potential. 

The minister assured that the government is initiating important steps through the High-Tech Ministry. They have received the budgetary program, which shows that the ministry will be receiving a lot of financing. This has never occurred in Armenian history. 

Renderforest was established in Yerevan in 2013. Millions of videos were created due to the platform. Over three million users are registered on the site currently, and they have created approximately 6 million videos. G2crowd labeled the Renderforest startup as being one of the top 100 programming companies of 2019.
