Diasporan Armenian folk singer Carmen Adjemian will perform on August 9th at the Hovhannes Shiraz House and Museum in Gyumri. The concert is titled “I am singing for you, my Gyumri.” This is the first time she will be performing in Gyumri. This event will be the singer’s present to her dear Gyumri. Compositions by Sheram, Gusan Havasi, Shiraz, and Isahakyan will be performed.
Students from Gyumri’s Number 5 Music School named after Sherami will also be performing with Carmen Adjemian at the event.
Sevak Amroyan’s and Carmen Adjemian’s music video titled “Gharabaghi Zmrukht Havqer (Karabakh’s Emerald Birds)” is available. Ashugh Zakaryan is the author of the song, Mariam Gevorgyan is the director, and the song was arranged by Garegin Arakelyan.
