Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took place in the reopening ceremony of the Shirak province’s Maralik cotton factory. Then, he walked around the city of Gyumri for two hours and 40 minutes and recorded the entire thing on a Facebook livestream.
He dedicated his visit to getting to know the homeland and called upon all Armenians- both local and Diasporan- to plan their vacations in Armenia and to not view this as something mandatory, but instead as a way to get to know one another and to have the opportunity to see their real values.
According to Nikol Pashinyan, when people say “Gyumri,” most think about a disaster zone, which has damaged the charm of the city. However, “Walking around Gyumri is a pleasure.”
