With the efforts of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) and the support of our partner organizations, a motherless bear cub, which recently appeared at one of the hotels in Dilijan, was relocated to the Wildlife Rescue Center (WRC). Under the supervision of the Environmental and Subsoil Inspection Authority, the animal was transported to a shelter providing better conditions, where it’ll be under specialists’ supervision, undergoing rehabilitation.

Thus, there will be a possibility of re-wilding it, in the future. The FPWC continues to urge and encourage the citizens to care for nature and wildlife, not to take away their freedom… The place of the wild animal is in the nature.
