An act of barbarism took place at the St. Sahag Armenian Church in Valence, France. The church’s official Facebook page wrote about the incident. The electrical system of the church was fundamentally damaged and the electrical wires were cut.
Later on, parish minister Father Antranik Maldjian posted a prayer on Facebook, asking everyone to pray for the stability of the Armenian church.
Several news outlets have covered this act of vandalism. Secretary of the “Armeni Apulia” Association, Italian teacher Carlo Coppola also spoke out about this incident.
