On September 5, at the RA NA Standing Committee the parliamentarians with the RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and foreign departments jointly discussed the 2020-2022 mid-term expenditure components and the next year budget allocations. The Minister touched upon the Conference of the RA MFA Apparatus and Heads of RA Diplomatic Service Abroad, within that framework the diplomatic enlarged meeting held in the RA NA. Speaking about the mid-term expenditure programme Zohrab Mnatsakanyan indicated the three fundamental principles of the foreign policy. They are: self-sovereignty, pan-Armenianness and cooperation. The Minister also drew the parliamentarians’ attention to the activity of the diplomatic school and the extension of the means to be allocated by the budget. Highlighting the role of the school in the improvement of the diplomats’ skills, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has documented that the structure id the best platform for preparing specialists in accordance with the national demands.
At the joint discussion the Minister also presented the activity of the RA diplomatic structures, the process of the establishment of new Embassies and representations. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has noted that now works are done in Africa continent, particularly in Ethiopia for opening an Embassy.
