By January 1, 2019 the level of Lake Sevan formed 1900.39 meters, which was lower by 3 sm than that of the same day of the previous year.
During spring floods lake level raised up to 37 sm.
During 2019 the maximum lake level formed 1900.83 m, which was registered during the period on June 18-20.
From June 25 to July 21 lake level remained unchanged and formed 1900.81m.

In 2019 the positive difference in lake levels compared to the same days of the previous year was observed from July 9 to August 27, after which it was equal to the level of the same days of the previous year, on August 29-30 it was 1sm lower compared to the indices of the same days of the previous year.
In 2019 water abstraction from Lake Sevan started from June 8. In the period from June 8 to September 5 the amount of the water abstracted from Lake Sevan formed 130.786 cubic meters. For comparison we should note that the amount of the water flown from the lake in the same period of 2018 formed 181.214 cubic meters. It means 50.428 cubic meters more than that of this year.
In the period from January 1 to September 5 the water amount transferred to Lake Sevan by Arpa-Sevan tunnel formed 148.843 million cubic meters, in the same period of 2018 it formed 131.581 million cubic meters, it means that compared to the previous year the water amount was 17.262 million cubic meters more.
By August 1, 2019 Lake Sevan level formed 1900.76 meters, which is 2 sm higher than that of the same day of the previous year. During the month lake level lowered by 13 sm, it means it was 3 sm less than that of August of the previous year.
In August 2019 average monthly temperature formed +15…+19 C in Lake Sevan basin, which is +0.8․․․+1.6 C higher the norm.
Monthly precipitation was 19-45 mm, which forms 30-97% of the norm.
The amount of the water abstracted from Lake Sevan formed 54.198 million cubic meters in August. Every day more that a cubic meter water abstraction was implemented from the lake, except on August 30-31.
As a result since August 8 the lake level has lowered by 1 sm every 3rd day and on August 31 it formed 1900.63 m. which is 1 sm lower than that of the same day of the previous year.
Unlike this year in August 2018 the monthly average temperature formed +14…+17 C in Lake Sevan basin, which was within the norm with a slight positive deviation (-0,5․․․+0,7).
The average monthly precipitation was 26-75mm.
Due to hydro-meteorological phenomena and water abstraction from the lake in August, 2019 Lake Sevan level lowered by 3sm in compared with 2018, and 2-3 sm positive difference was equal to 0 or got a negative value.
By September 5 lake level formed 1900.62 m, which is equal to the level of the same day of the previous year and higher by 23 sm compared with January 1.
