A delegation from the French Thales Group technology company has been in Armenia for several days upon invitation by President Armen Sarkissian. This leading company works on creating and building electronic systems in several countries. It provides service in aviation, space, defense, transport, and security. The President had made an agreement with the Thales Group that a delegation would visit Armenia. They intended to get to know the market and to see what opportunities are available in Armenia to work on projects.
Vice President of the Thales Group, Paul Remi, said, “We are a very large organization with a positive outlook on the future. We don’t want to give false promises. We want to be able to have huge results and carry out serious projects. We intend to collaborate with the technology system in Armenia.”
When asked about the opportunities available in Armenia, Paul Remi said, “Armenia has many resources such as human capital. We believe that Armenia has a huge market. It’s a small country, but it has powerful educational and technological foundations, which is a great advantage for Thales.”
